Trimble has just announced an impressive rugged tablet computer with GPS integrated capabilities, Trimble called Yuma.

Trimble Yuma is implemented with Windows Vista Business, and meets the military standards MIL-STD-810F for drop test, vibration and moisture. Its IP67 rating means it is impervious to water and dust and operates in temperatures from -30 to 60 ° C. Yuma can be mounted on a tripod or pole to collect data, or even in a vehicle mount.
