Sprint has recently launched the Sierra Wireless 598U USB modem to deliver its mobile broadband.
This device is EV-DO Rev A-compatible with download speeds averaging 600 kbps to 1.4 Mbps, while the average load speeds ranging from 350 to 500 kbps.
The 598U is also compatible with the technology EV-DO Rev. 0 and 1XRTT and provides an integrated GPS receiver and a slot for microSDHC memory card that can be expanded up to 32GB.
Currently, the Sierra Wireless 598U USB modem for mobile broadband is available for free with a contract for a period of two years.
