Savant Prepares ONPAR GPS for Golfers

onpar_de_savantThe Savant navigation specialist has announced the ONPAR, a new entry in the realm of GPS units for golf. The device is similar in concept to the G5 Garmin makes great use of a touch screen to provide information such as distances and, of course, an overview of the design of the golf course.

The unit offers recommendations and monitoring of the club in scoring and statistics shots in history. It has not been shown to support those players.

The unit holds up to 300 playgrounds at no additional cost that can be displayed on the 3.5 inch screen, which, according to Savant is legible even in intense sunlight.

During the game golfers can see a map and make an approach or change with only a touch.

The Savant ONPAR GPS for golfers be arriving in early February and will be sold primarily through sporting good stores and its official website.
