Samsung S8300: UltraTOUCH and Slider Phone
Before the start of Mobile World Congress, Samsung presented a new phone with touchscreen.
This is the S8300 TouchWiz aka UltraTOUCH, with a touch screen 2.8-inch WQVGA AMOLED (active matrix OLED) which eliminates most of the weaknesses of these screens. In addition to color accuracy, better than an LCD, the new panel is also resistant to scratches and even offers a way to reduce common stains finger touching the screen.
Samsung has also improved screen TouchWiz interface to allow users to drag widgets easily input and output, and gives a phone keypad to dial in quickly.
The telephone is appropriately high-end in other areas and delivering an 8-megapixel camera with dual LED flash and smile detection. That phone uses 3G HSPA networks up to 7.2Mbps and GPS navigation. Both music videos and other content are stored on microSDHC cards up to 16 GB.
There is still no release date or the market price information.
