Samsung introduced a new model in a 17-inch R-series notebook for multimedia solution, Samsung R720. The laptop is the successor R710 model, which was at the popular of last summer. New product combines the support of HD-image and high quality 5.1-channel sound, 3D SRS, making it perfect for gaming and watching movies. Samsung R720 is equipped with 17.3-inch widescreen display, its resolution, although not specified, it is clear at 1920×1080 pixels. In addition, the laptop is equipped with 4-watt stereo speakers and even a built subwoofer.

Samsung R720 is based on Intel Centrino 2 platform and uses a new ATI Mobility Radeon HD4650 graphics card. Standard equipment provided with the DVD drive and a Blu-ray option is available. The laptop is equipped with four USB-ports, and one of them can be used to charge any devices, even if the laptop is turned off. There is also a combined port USB / eSATA. Keyboard Samsung R720 worth mentioning specifically: it is not only equipped with a digital unit that is not always possible to find a laptop, but is covered by the antibacterial composition. Sales of notebooks in the UK will begin in July, the cost of £599 (about $ 980).
