Samsung Blue Earth: Touchscreen from Plastic Recycling and Solar-Powered
Samsung Electronics has introduced a cell phone screen that you have named “Blue Earth“. Gadget environmentally impressive as the “Blue Earth” is the first phone in the market as the energy obtained through solar panel on the back, which apparently provides enough power to make a call anytime.
Its added to the green credentials of the “Blue Earth”, which is made from a recycled plastic called PCM, which is extracted from water bottles. I was thinking that this happens if I live in Antarctica, where only the sun comes up every 6 months, it has a good shipper and highly efficient as both the phone are free from harmful substances such as brominates flame retardants, beryllium and phthalates .

Samsung Blue Earth said that the “Blue Earth” has a user interface designed to call attention to the preservation of our fragile environment. ”
Screen brightness, the backlighting time and the Bluetooth can be adjusted in an efficient way of energy called “Eco Mode“.
In addition there is an “eco tour” a feature that allows the user to count their steps on a pedometer that is built into the computer, the
estimated amount of CO2 emissions have been reduced (and therefore how many trees have been saved) to do the walking instead of taking the car.
Made from recycled packaging and a highly efficient charger, theĀ Samsung “Blue Earth” will be available in the UK during the second half of 2009.
