Point of View Mobii Ion Mini, new netbook based nVidia Ion

point-of-view-mobii-ion-mini-2The Dutch company, Point of View has expanded its line of 10.2-inch Point of View Mobii Ion Mini netbook.

At the core of new items based on 1.6GHz Intel Atom 230 processor and nVidia Ion platform, nVidia MCP7A including chipset and integrated nVidia GeForce 9400M GPU.

Point of View Mobii Ion Mini netbook equipped with 1GB of RAM DDR2, a 160GB HDD, card reader (SD/MMC), two USB ports, HDMI connector, Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11b/g), two speakers and 1.3-megapixel web camera. As an option available is Bluetooth 2.0. This netbook is available with a 3-cell or 6-cell battery (2,200mAh and 4,400 mAh, respectively). The latter battery can provide up to four hours of autonomous work.

point-of-view-mobii-ion-mini-1Point of View Mobii Ion Mini runs under Linux OS. The device weighs 1.4 kg and a resolution of the screen is 1024×600 pixels. Point of View Mobii ION 230 Mini is available in Europe and its cost is about $500.
