NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280M: World’s Fastest Mobile Graphics Chip
NVIDIA Corporation formally introduced a new line of mobile graphics chips designed specifically for notebooks. And one of the new products, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280M, as they say its creators, is the fastest in the world of graphics processor for notebooks. Built on the basis of video graphics G92, designed for 55 nm manufacturing process, the mobile graphics card will give users a 50 percent greater performance than previous generation GPU for powerful laptops.
In addition, a new line of mobile graphics chips NVIDIA includes three additional solutions. If the GeForce GTX 260M GPU, like his elder brother, is designed for notebook enthusiasts, the remaining two processors GeForce GTS 160M and 150M will find its place in the elegant high-performance mobile computers. And they all support the advanced graphics technology - CUDA, PhysX, as well as work with high definition video.
Laptops from ASUS, Clevo and MSI with the new line of NVIDIA graphics processors will be presented at the ongoing exhibition in Hanover CeBit.
