Novatel Ovation MC995D, E970D, E960D OEM: HSPA USB Embedded Modems
Novatel introduced three new wireless products, the Ovation MC995D USB modem, as well as mini cards Expedite embedded modules for E970D and E960D OEM devices such as laptops.
The three devices with integrated GPS capabilities and access to high speed HSPA network, enabling them to reach rates of up to 7.2Mbps download and 5.7Mbps speeds up loading. The MC995D and E970D were built to work with bands from Europe, the Middle East and Asia of 900MHz, 1900MHz and 2100MHz.
The Ovation MC995D also support GPRS and EDGE networks and has a slot for microSD memory card supporting up to 32GB of storage. The MC995D is automatic installation and connection manager for a quick installation on Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems.
Integrated modems are compatible and can automatically switch between GPRS, EDGE and 3G networks. The modules have a three-channel PCM receiver and offers voice capabilities as an option.
