New Handheld GPS Receiver: Lowrance Outback
Lowrance has announced the release of the Outback, its new handheld GPS receiver with touch screen.
Lowrance Outback line belongs to the “Endura” and provides ample capacity for expansion for people who enjoy outdoor activities. It comes preloaded with a map and offers multiple mounting options and download maps, as well as the ability to support the shared content via the web community and the role of link-and-play.
The Lowrance Endura Outback has a touch screen 2.7-inch color, includes an option of recording tracks for a quick recovery and for sharing, offers an application compatible with geocaching.com and standby to preserve the life of the battery and provide a rapid onset.
Lowrance Outback is the input device for the new series Endura and will cost $ 230 when it reaches stores in May this year.
It operates through two AA batteries, has a micro SD card slot that supports up to 32GB, and a mini USB port.
