NEC LaVie Light Lui Mobile Netbook
NEC introduced LaVie Light Lui netbook. This model is fairly standard for a device of this class. It is equipped with 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels and is based on Intel Atom N280 processor with a clock speed of 1.66 GHz and an integrated Intel GMA 950 GPU. Also among the characteristics of devices are 1 GB RAM, 1.3 MP web-camera, 10/100 Ethernet, wireless modules are Wi-Fi b / g and Bluetooth 2.1.
The amount of hard drive is 160 GB, and there is a SD card reader. LaVie Light Lui Mobile Netbook has delivers up to 8.5 hours of autonomous work, its weight is 1.32 kg. The device is running a Windows XP Home Edition SP3 OS.
However, LaVie Light Lui Mobile supports remote access to the NEC LUI home server. Sales of new NEC’s netbook start in Japan on 9 July, information about its cost and the possible timing of shipments to other regions yet.
