Lenovo ThinkPad X200 using CULV platform
Lenovo is developing a new version of its ThinkPad X200 netbook, which will be based on CULV platform. This information has not yet received direct confirmation, but provided Lenovo previously mentioned the plans for reduces cost laptop using CULV processors. However, they are not bound by any commitments regarding the issuance of a new ThinkPad.
Existing models of ThinkPad X200, remember working on the processor Core 2 Duo series of SL, which naturally affects their value. It helps reduce the Celeron M723 chip at a frequency of 1.2 GHz, which is expected to come into the CULV platform for a new laptop. The new ThinkPad X200 model will also have two gigabytes of RAM and hard disk capacity of 160 GB.
