Iolite, HTC Touch Cruise 09
HTC has officially announced a new device powered by Windows Mobile, whose main asset is the GPS navigation.
This device is now nicknamed Iolite his official debut as the HTC Touch Cruise 09.
Like his twin brother XDA-Guide, the most outstanding feature of the HTC Touch Cruise 09 is GPS navigation. It comes with a new navigation system and advanced new fingerprint based on the location of HTC, including the geo-tagging of photos and sound clips.
The device comes with comprehensive capabilities of turn-by-turn and included at no extra cost for a car assembly will be provided in the package of retail.
The Touch Cruise is operated by Windows Mobile Professional 6.1, uses a Qualcomm MSM 7225 processor at 528 MHz and comes with 256 MB of RAM. It also has 512 MB of onboard ROM, which can be expandable through the microSD card slot.
Other features of the new Cruise:
* 65K color touch screen 2.8-inch QVGA
* Camera with 3.2 megapixel fixed focus
* TouchFLO
* 3G HSDPA, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth (2.0 and A2DP)
Shipments of HTC Touch Cruise 09 will be launched this spring with an estimated retail price of 460 euros.
