HTC Magic for Vodafone
Vodafone and HTC present the new phone equipped with Android, the HTC Magic, changing HTC Dream that a few days ago announced for Movistar Spain.
It happens by the hand and face blue operator staying in the exclusive new model of HTC, one of the few developments with Android we can see in this Mobile World Congress. However, the difference between the two phones is not excessive.
The main change HTC’s Magic versus previous model is the disappearance of the physical keyboard, which is replaced by a virtual touchscreen. This maintains the same size, 3.2 inches, and the same resolution, 480 × 320 pixels, is also capacitive.
The battery also improved, rising by 20%, to climb up to 1350 mAh. In addition, it incorporates the latest version of Android, Cupcake, which adds to the virtual keyboard, video recording, improved MMS.
The launch will be in April, with prices of between 19 and 199 euros depending on the associated contract. Vodafone has confirmed that it will exclusively, until the summer (until August or so) in several markets such as Spain (where it is only available in white), United Kingdom, France and Germany, while it will also Italy, but not exclusivity.
The flat fee associated with the Magic HTC Vodafone will be offering 12 euros, with an unlimited consumption. Starting tomorrow users will be able to register on the Vodafone website for information on pricing and availability.
