Dell Studio XPS: Huge RAM, up to 24GB RAM
Dell has revealed ambitious plans for its desktop computers with a first pitch for the Studio XPS 435.
Unlike the original, the new version has its own housing with much thinner design for better airflow and more room for expansion: the new system has space for up to 24GB of memory, it takes as much as 4.5TB of storage and comes with a 475W power supply that can handle significantly more expansion than most PCs.
A tray mounted inherited the XPS 430 offers users a place to locate cameras and MP3 players, including three USB ports, audio in / out and an IR remote for media center duties.
The system continues to focus on Core i7 processors and have a range of chips from 2.66GHz to 3.2GHz chip.
New Studio XPS line is for a gaming video card 1GB Radeon HD 4870. In addition, the systems can also be fitted with Blu-ray, an audio card Sound Blaster X-Fi card and Wi-Fi 802.11n.
