An interesting proposal was revealed in a patent filed by Apple, which mentions a name Swipe technology Gestures for Touch Screen Keyboards (gestures sliding keyboard on touch screens). According to the document, users can complete four to slide a finger up, down, right and left. You slide your finger down will result in an integer, left clear in a letter and a jump to the right space.

Aside from the gestures above, could be used instead of one, two fingers (multi-tap) for extra features, such as slide two fingers left delete the entire word rather than a single letter that you get by using only one finger, two fingers to the right amount to a coma and not the space to use a finger.

Like a computer, and its combination of buttons, sliders would shorten the gestures and actions would be easy to learn for a novice user. So do not forget to ask Apple to include it in its next firmware update.
