Acer Tempo M900, F900, DX900 and X960, New Smartphones Line
Acer has already revealed what is your bet to debut in the mobile telephone industry. The Taiwanese firm debuts its line of smartphones or intelligent terminals in the Mobile World Congress 2009. That has so far been given the first details of its first four models: Acer M900, Acer F900, Acer X960 and Acer DX900. All of them are mobile touch screen with some of them large and utilities for the most demanding user.
Acer M900 is the most ambitious of them, with a touch screen 3.8 inch WVGA resolution. It will have features of advanced phones, such as GPS navigation, HSDPA connectivity for high speed internet or a camera and five-megapixel auto focus, aside from the radio tuner. It is based on Windows Mobile 6.1 and will include office software Mobile Office package, with limited versions of programs like Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Also, have a fingerprint sensor and security system.
Acer is followed by F900, a touchscreen with WVGA 3.8 inch. With respect to the previous model, keeping the GPS navigator and HSDPA connectivity, although this terminal can connect to wireless networks using Wi-Fi. Instead, the camera cut to 3.2 megapixel resolution. Its interface is based on widgets or small applications, customizable by the user, and optimized for use with one hand. E includes the Internet Explorer version 6, which supports Adobe Flash content and JavaScript.
The next on the list is Acer X960. Again with a touchscreen, while reducing its size to 2.8-inch VGA resolution. It’s attending browsing with your fingers with a ball steering for ease of use. That’s incorporates a GPS navigator and two cameras, a 3.2 megapixel main flash and secondary video call. Also use the same interface-based widgets, and include applications such as Outlook or Windows Office package mentioned.
Finally, the Acer DX900 dual connectivity is highlighted as it is compatible with 3.5 G SIM cards (for access to HSDPA) and 2.75 G. This phone comes with a VGA touch screen 2.8 inches, which promises an intuitive interface with one hand. Large icons, and animated transition effects to increase their visual appeal. It is the only one of these phones that does not have GPS navigator, but it has dual camera, the same specification as the Acer X960.
